Add Hugo, Curio's grounded AI chat assistant, to your site in one click. Answers from YOUR content, with citations. Keyless — no API key to paste.

== Description ==

Curio adds a friendly AI chat assistant (Hugo) to your WordPress site. It answers visitors from **your own content** — your pages, docs, and uploads — and **cites its sources**, deep-linking to the exact section. Two tabs: **Info** (topic Q&A) and **🛟 Support**.

**Keyless by design.** There is no API key to copy or secret to leak. Curio recognises your site by its **domain** — so this plugin just adds the one-line widget, and everything else is configured in your Curio portal.

* Grounded answers with citations (no confident guessing — if it's not in your content, Hugo says so)
* Info + Support tabs over one shared knowledge base
* Full branding control (name, colours, launcher, greeting) — set in your Curio portal
* Live view + human takeover: jump into a conversation as a person, then hand back
* Privacy-first: conversations are not stored on Curio's servers
* Free trial, then simple usage-based pricing (no monthly seat fees)

**Where configuration lives:** everything about how the assistant looks and what it knows is managed at [getcurio.chat](https://getcurio.chat), resolved by your site's domain. This plugin's only job is to load the widget and point you to your portal.

== Installation ==

1. Install and activate this plugin.
2. Go to **Settings → Curio Chat**.
3. Follow the two steps shown: create your assistant at [getcurio.chat](https://getcurio.chat) and **verify this site's domain** with the DNS TXT record it gives you.
4. Make sure **"Show the widget"** is enabled. The assistant appears on your site once your domain is verified.

That's it — no keys, no code.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Do I need an API key? =

No. Curio is keyless — it recognises your site by its domain. Just verify your domain in the Curio portal.

= Where do I change the assistant's name, colours, or content? =

In your Curio portal at getcurio.chat. Because Curio resolves your site by domain, all configuration is centralised there — the plugin only loads the widget.

= Does it store my visitors' conversations? =

No. Conversations are kept in the visitor's browser and relayed to you in real time (if you enable delivery); Curio does not store them.

= The widget isn't showing. What should I check? =

Confirm (1) "Show the widget" is enabled here, and (2) your site's domain is **verified** in your Curio portal. The widget only appears for a verified domain.
